Classics for All - Olympus Challenge Entry Form

Please make sure you have completed our Initial Enquiry Form first before completing this form. Completing our Initial Enquiry Form will give you the CfA Application Number which is needed at the start of this form. If you are already receiving training from us to deliver the material in the Olympus Challenge you will still need to complete a new Initial Enquiry Form so that you receive a new Application Number. If at any point you are unsure of any information needed in this form, please put N/A and we can edit this later, or you are welcome to contact us at cfaschoolsupport@classicsforall.org.uk with any questions. You are also welcome to save your progress with the form and complete it at a later stage.

We will keep your details safe and process them in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

To complete the challenge, all students must have successfully completed at least three of the following components:

A: at least one term studying a cultural or historical topic related to classics

B: at least one term studying classical literature

C: at least one term studying Latin or Greek

D: a creative response (e.g. film, drama, art, creative writing) to a classical topic

E: a study visit to a museum, classical site, theatre etc which culminates in a presentation or debate on a topic related to the classical world.

Please submit a minimum of three pieces of supporting evidence which showcase the work of your students here - please include one piece of evidence for each of the three sections undertaken (N.B. This is a minimum of three pieces of evidence per group/class - not three for each student). Suitable pieces of evidence could include (but are not limited to):

· An example of a student’s written work

· A copy of a completed language test

· Photographs of work written/made/performed by students

· A video recording of a debate or performance

· A group blog created by students

· A written or visual account of a site/museum/theatre visit
